The Logical Solution

The Thinklogical Triple Link DVI Extender systems are designed for high-resolution video extension applications, such as remote projection centers, theaters and assembly halls, and for secure computer installations. The ability to remotely locate the CPU away from the monitor allows more control of your computer environment. It is possible to position the monitor or projector in any setting from office to lecture hall to boardroom while keeping the computer secure in a remote, controlled location.

The System

Each Triple Link DVI Extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver connected by multi-mode fiber optic cable. The Triple Link DVI Extender conveniently places 3 single-link DVI Extenders in a 1RU chassis. The transmitter unit connects to the video source and the receiver unit provides connections to the display devices. Each DVI Link pair is connected using a multi-mode fiber optic cable, allowing DVI video support up to 1000 meters (3280 feet) from the host computer.

The Transmitter is compatible with all Thinklogical DVI Extender Receivers (except Dual Link DVI). This allows three video sources to be displayed up to 1000 meters apart from one another. The Receiver is compatible with all Thinklogical DVI Extender Transmitters (except Dual-Link DVI). This allows separately located video sources to be sent to the same location.

The VIS-33 is available with SC-, ST-, or LC-type fiber connectors.
